Privacy Policy

PetLover — Pet Health Passport (“PetLover”, “we”, “us”) helps pet owners manage their pets’ health records. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Depending on the features you use, we collect:

• Account information — your email address, display name, and a user ID. If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive your email and name from that provider to create your account.
• Pet and health data — pet profiles, weight, vaccination and medical records, reminders, and care notes that you enter.
• Photos — pet photos and avatars you choose to upload.
• Documents and files — veterinary documents you upload or scan.
• Approximate location — only if you grant permission, used to show local weather and to find nearby veterinary services. You can decline or disable this at any time in your device settings.
• Purchase information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, your purchase history is processed to manage your subscription.
• Device identifiers — a push notification token and related identifiers, used to deliver reminders and notifications.
• In-app messages — messages you send to our AI assistant and content you post in community features.

• Provide and improve the PetLover service and your pet health records.
• Send care reminders and notifications you enable.
• Enable family/household sharing features you choose to use.
• Provide AI features such as document scanning and the AI assistant.
• Show location-based features (weather, nearby vets) when you allow location access.
• Process and manage paid subscriptions.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these cases:

• Family members you invite — pets and records you choose to share.
• Service providers that operate the app, including:
  • Supabase — secure data hosting and storage.
  • RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management (receives purchase history and a device identifier).
  • AI processing providers — photos, documents, and messages you submit to AI features are sent for processing to return results; they are not used to build advertising profiles.
  • Push notification and email delivery providers.

These providers process data on our behalf under their respective terms.

We may process aggregated, de-identified usage statistics (for example, which features are used or how often reminders are opened) to understand and improve the app. This aggregated data does not identify you. We do not use third-party advertising trackers and we do not sell your data.

Your data is stored using Supabase infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS), and health and pet records are encrypted at rest. We restrict access to personal data to systems and personnel that need it to operate the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and any competent authority as required by applicable law.

PetLover is available to users in North America, Europe, Australia, and other regions. Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including by the service providers listed above. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We retain your account and pet data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, pets, records, photos, and documents. After you delete your account, we retain a copy for up to 30 days to allow for account recovery, after which it is permanently deleted — except where longer retention is required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention or resolving disputes. Purchase records held by the app stores are governed by their own policies. You may also request deletion by emailing quocanh1801@gmail.com, or see our Data Deletion page.

PetLover is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these rights directly with the in-app controls above, or by contacting us. You can also disable location access and push notifications at any time in your device settings. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
